Hey, I’m Allen Chang!

I’m a software engineer at Palo Alto Networks, where I work on WildFire on their Malware Detection team.

I graduated from Georgia Tech in December 2025 with degrees in mathematics and computer science. Before that, I was a cryptography intern at Trail of Bits, where I worked on pwndbg and on agentic tooling for security audits. Earlier, I was advised by Fabian Monrose at the Astrolavos Lab, where my research was on self-modifying malware used to map intelligence sharing between cybersecurity vendors.

I play CTFs with Squid Proxy Lovers, a US-based CTF team of mostly undergraduates. My main category is crypto.
